Xiaomi explains that it will be at the MWC with employees who are already outside of China

The Chinese technology company Xiaomi has confirmed this Monday that it will attend the MWC (World Mobile Congress) in Barcelona (northeast Spain) "as planned", from the next day 23, although with security measures for the coronavirus, including that its Employees who attend will have been out of China for the past 14 days.

Xiaomi has published a writing on its official blog Mi.com, in its English version, in which it states that it will participate in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), after other large companies, such as Amazon, have resigned from attending Ericsson, LG, Nvidia, NTT Docomo, Sony and Umidigi, due to the global health emergency from the Wuhan coronavirus.

Xiaomi has detailed that it will launch its new products in an event that will be held on the 23rd and that it will participate in the fair from 24 to 27.

The company has explained that its workers who come from China and the company's executives will have left that country 14 days before, as a security measure for the coronavirus, so they will have already left if they will participate in the event called by Xiaomi on the 23rd. .

In addition, the company will ensure that they do not present any possible symptoms of the disease and all the recommendations issued by GSMA, the employers' association for telecommunications operators that organizes the Mobile Congress, will be followed.
